Product Instructions
May contain natural foreign materials; sort and rinse before cooking. Cooking Instructions: Publix Pearled Barley do not require soaking. Place 2-1/2 cups water and 1/8 teaspoon salt in large saucepan; bring to a boil on medium-high. Add 1 cup pearled barley, then reduce heat to low and simmer 40-45 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until grains are tender but still chewy. Add cooked pearled barley to vegetable or bean soup. (Makes about 3 cups cooked pearled barley).
