Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Place black-eyed peas in 2 cups boiling water. Bring to a second boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 25-30 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain; season to taste. Microwave cooking is not recommended. Note: Packaging is not microwavable. Do not microwave in bag. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking instructions: Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to cook Do not thaw. Refrigerate leftovers.
