Serving: 1: Water (or Milk) (a): 1 cup; Oats: 1/2 cup; Salt (Optional): dash. 2: Water (or milk) (a): 1 3/4 cups; Oats: 1 cup; Salt (Optional): 1/8 tsp. 6: Water (or Milk) (a): 5 cups; Oats: 3 cups; Salt (Optional): 1/4 tsp. Stovetop Cooking Instructions: 1. Bring water (or milk) and salt to a boil. Stir in oats. 2. Cook about 5 minutes over medium heat or until thickened. Stir occasionally. 3. Stir before serving. (a) For thicker oatmeal, use less water or milk. For thinner oatmeal, use more water or milk.
