Product Instructions
Oven Directions: 1. preheat oven to 450 degrees F. 2. in an ungreased 1%-quart casserole, combine 2 cups boiling water, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, 2/3 cup milk, sauce mix and potato slices. 3. Bake uncovered about 25 minutes or until top is light brown and potatoes are tender (bake 5 minutes longer for a more golden brown top and softer potatoes). 4. Remove from oven (sauce will thicken upon standing). Stir before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.
Stove-top Directions: 1. in a 2-quart saucepan, combine 2 cups hot water, 1 tablespoon margarine or butter, 2/3 cup milk, sauce mix and potato slices. 2. Heat to just boiling, stirring frequently. Watch carefully to avoid boil over. 3. Reduce heat; cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until potatoes are tender and sauce is desired consistency (sauce will thicken as it stands).
