Product Instructions
To retain vitamins, do not rinsed before or after cooking. Stovetop Instructions: Bring water to a boil in saucepot on medium-high. Stir rice into boiling water and cover. Reduce heat to lowest setting; simmer 25 minutes. Remove pot from heat; let stand 5 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender. Note: For best results, do not lift lid or stir while cooking. Microwave Instructions: Place 2-1/4 cups water and 1 cup rice in large microwave-safe bowl. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes until boiling, then microwave on medium (50% power) for 25 more minutes. Remove from microwave and let stand 5 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed and rice is tender. Microwave ovens vary; adjust time as needed. Note: It is not recommended to cook more than 1 cup rice at a time in microwave; use stovetop instructions instead. Cooking Measurement Chart: 4 servings; 1 cup rice; 2-1/4 cups water; 3 cups yield. 8 servings; 2 cups rice; 4-1/2 cups water; 6 cups yield; 12 servings; 3 cups rice; 6-3/4 cups water; 9 cups yield.
