Product Instructions
Stovetop Directions: 1. Bring water to a boil, using the table below (Add margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Stir in instant white rice. 3. Remove from heat and cover. 4. Let stand for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. 5. Fluff with fork and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers. 2 Servings: 1 cup rice; 1 cup water. 4 Servings: 2 cups rice; 2 cups water. 6 Servings: 3 cups rice; 3 cups water. 8 Servings: 4 cups rice; 4 cups water. 1/2 cup uncooked rice = 1 serving (about 2/3 cup cooked rice).
Microwave Directions: 1. In a microwave-safe dish, combine water and instant white rice (Add margarine and salt, if desired). 2. Cover and microwave on high using times below. Do not remove lid. 3. Let stand for 5 minutes or until water is absorbed. 4. Fluff with fork and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers. 2 Servings: 1 cup rice & water (equal amount); 1 quart microwave-safe dish; 3 minutes. 4 Servings: 2 cups rice & water (equal amount); 1-1/2 quarts microwave-safe dish; 4 minutes. 6 Servings: 3 cups rice & water (equal amount); 2 quarts microwave-safe dish; 5 minutes. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate. For best results, use stovetop cooking method.
