Cooking Instructions: Stove Top: 1. In 3-quart saucepan, bring 1/3 cup of water to boil. 2. Add 16 oz of frozen mixed vegetables; return to boil. 3. Reduce heat to medium, cover and boil gently 5 to 7 minutes or until tender. Stir once during cooking time. Avoid overcooking. 4. Season to taste and serve immediately. Microwave: 1. Use 2-quart covered microwave-safe dish to cook 16 oz of frozen vegetables. 2. Add 3 tablespoons of water and cover. 3. For lower wattage ovens, cook on high 6 minutes. Stir and cook on high an additional 6 minutes. For ovens greater than 1100 watts, cook on high 4 minutes. Stir and cook on high an additional 4 minutes. 4. Let stand 3 minutes. Season to taste. For food safety and quality, cook to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Keep frozen until ready to use. If thawed, do not refreeze. Note: Microwave cooking times may vary depending on the particular appliance used.
